bandlimited signal
A continuous signal \(x(t)\) is bandlimited when
\begin{equation}
X(j\Omega) = 0 \forall |\Omega| \geq \frac{\pi}{T}
\end{equation}
where \(X(j\Omega)\) is the fourier transform of \(x(t)\), and \(T\) is some time value.
This basically means that the FT of the signal occupies a finite number of frequency bins, or that it frequency response is finite.
