coherence time

Time during which the channel appears fixed.

We are fixing delay and studying the time of a channel. The opposite is channel delay spread.

The inverse of this quantity is doppler spread.

Unit is seconds.

If the time of each symbol is lower than coherence time, we have slow fading, otherwise fast fading.
