signal constellation

All coefficients of a signal when the signal is projected onto signal basis functions.

The relation between the signal \(s_i(t)\) and its constellation point \(s_i\) is one-to-one.

Constellations typically do some mapping from bit sequence to signal space coefficient. This is usually done via gray coding.
